January = The Wolf Moon

The full moon in January has been known as the Wolf moon since the middle ages.

In the month of January, it was often difficult for the wolf packs of North American to find food. During this month the hungry wolves would roam the countryside, in search of food.
With so much of their natural habitat gone, the wolves need our help more than ever........

Please join us in saving the wolf by signing the petitions at:

Being put on a yearly check up schedule must have had you on Cloud Nine!

very much so! like i told my doctor: it's not that i don't like seeing you, but....

*grin*

and congratulations on your own! i remember the best part was when i passed the need for regular ct scans. having bloodwork done occasionally, i can live with, but drinking that contrast twice a year, even once a year. *shdder*

i have to confess i haven't been to your page before (oops) so all your wolf information is very interesting -- and familiar! my ex considers the wolf his main spirit animal (perchingwolf is his screen name, and his medieval name is lovell, which is saxon for "little wolf"). we used to support various wolf-related organizations, and he still does, i'm sure. they are amazing creatures.

see you around the blog!

My dear Wendy!

Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my blog!
I just want you to know that I decided to leave Mayo's blog for good, but I will certainly keep in touch with wonderful people like you!
I decided to write mostly in German from now on, because I can express my thoughts and feelings way better than I can in English.
My first blog entry is pretty much a farewell letter/statement.

I really admire how you held your ground yesterday! We both know what this crap is all about, right? I never thought that Blogbelieve would have its own Voluptuosity, but dreams can come true and so do nightmares ;-)

Love & Kisses & Hugs

Your friend

Siobhan-san, you're actually leaving the blog? I can understand why, but I don't want to lose another friend over the ridiculous shit that's been going on. I'm sad to see you go, but I'll visit your blogs. Take care and much love to you!

Wendy,

Thank you so much for all the kind words you have given me and J. and for the well-wishes on our blog. You know we love you dearly and thank you for being our friend. I hope one day we can meet up around Mardi Gras time and have a good old fashioned parteee!

Since J.'s niece is down there, maybe we could come visit around that time one year. Keep the PUNK faith for us while I am down for a few days, and we will be back soon!

Love you,
Lisa (and Jen)
